Yala Peak Climb leads you on top at above 5,732 m and 18,806 ft high, a short adventure of less than two weeks duration, an ideal trek and climb for beginners in mountaineering and as well for hardy and veteran climbers as practice climb.

Yala Peak will be suitable for all types of adventurer as the climb is least technical, a straight forward ascent to its summit top, where few climbing equipments required as the grade of the climb is F ‘Facile / Easy’ than other trekking peaks of Nepal Himalaya.

The grading used from famous and popular French / Swiss Alpine Climbing Classification which describes as basic climb with rock scrambling on easy snow slopes; some glacier trek and climb; which is often climbed rope-less except on glaciers.

Our wonderful adventure to Yala Peak Climb begins with an exciting overland journey from Kathmandu heading towards Rasuwa district around Langtang Himal areas within great Central Himalaya which touches the border with South West Tibet / China.

Walk follows from low warm areas of paddy fields and terraces heading higher to cooler alpine scenic areas into lovely forest of thick rhododendron-oaks-magnolia-hemlocks-pines and fir tree lines with bamboo thickets, where rare and endangered Red Panda habitats around this green vegetation of Langtang areas.

Adventure follow to explore nice and cultural villages of Tamang people the mountain tribe of Langtang Himal interwoven with old Buddhism religion and still practice ancient Bon sects of pre Buddhism.

Our route climb past Langtang village and then entering a wide and open scenic valley of Langtang at Kyanjin Gompa, with several lodges for travelers here with rest day for acclimatization and short hike to view points.

From Kyanjin our adventure leads towards eastern rim of the valley to camp at Yala Peak base camp for exciting and long climb to the top of Yala Peak rewards you with awesome panorama of mountains with dramatic picturesque landscapes.

After a great climb return journey on the same route which provides more opportunity with interesting walk back at Syabrubesi for scenic drive to Kathmandu, with mesmerizing and marvelous time around Langtang Himal and climb of Yala Peak.

Brief Itinerary:

Day 01:            Arrival at Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
Day 02:            In Kathmandu optional tour and preparation for Yala Peak Climb.
Day 03:            Drive to Syabrubesi 1,460 m via Trisuli Bazaar – 06 hrs.
Day 04:            Trek to Lama Hotel 2,430 m – 06 hours.
Day 05:            Trek to Langtang village 3,430 m -06 hours.
Day 06:            Trek to Kyanjin Gompa 3,850 m -04 hours.
Day 07:            At Kyanjin Gompa rest day for acclimatization.
Day 08:            Trek to Yala Peak Base Camp 4,400 m / 14,435 ft – 05 hours.
Day 09:            Climb of Yala Peak at above 5,732 m / 18,806 ft – 08 hrs back to base camp.
Day 10:            Trek to Kyanjin Gompa – 05 hrs.
Day 11:            Trek to Lama Hotel 2,350m – 06 hours walk.
Day 12:            Trek to Syabrubesi – 06 hours walk.
Day 13:            Drive back to Kathmandu – 06 hrs.
Day 14:            In Kathmandu free day for individual activities.
Day 15:            International Departure homeward bound.
