Everest South Col Expedition

Mt.Everest is always been the goal to climb once in a lifetime by professional and non-professional mountaineers.

OVERVIEW

Mt. Everest, the world’s highest mountain lies within the Himalaya between Nepal and Tibet (China). This mountain is called by different names: Sagarmatha in Nepal & Qomolangma in Tibet (China) but its mystery still remains unsolved. Everest South Col lies in the Mahalangur section of the Himalayas at the elevation of 8,848 meters (29,029 ft) above sea level. Its massif includes neighboring peaks Lhotse (8,516 m) Nuptse (7,855 m) and Changtse 7,580 m (Tibet)

Ever since Sir Edmund Hillary & Tenzing Norgay summitted the top of Mt. Everest via the south East Ridge on May 29, 1953, many geographers explorers & climbers followed their path to climb Mt. Everest from the South side but only a few of them could succeed in their attempt.

Our Everest summit plan normally requires 59 days from Base Camp at 5,380 m (17,700 ft) via the south side of Everest in Nepal. Expedition team will spend a couple of weeks at Base Camp, acclimatizing to the higher altitude. After proper acclimatization we gently climb Camp1, Camp1 to Camp2, Camp2 to Camp3, Camp3 to Camp4, Camp4 and Summit and back to Camp4, Camp3 to Base Camp and continue trek back to Lukla and from Lukla take a flight to Kathmandu. Summit to Mt. Everest depends on weather and snow conditions.

Mt. Everest South Col is every adventure enthusiast’s dream but it is not that easy to conquer it and set the record in the mountaineering history. Nepal Expedition team member should have an extensive mountaineering experience, appropriate preparation & high level of physical fitness. For more information about Mt.
